Power On 99.5FM From Good Friday 10th April
One of Dublin and Ireland’s most important outlets for new, emerging and specialist music over the past 15 years, POWER FM, will kick off a series of 3 day weekend broadcasts on Midnight Holy Thursday 9th April/Good Friday 10th April 2009.
Power FM will be broadcasting on 99.5FM in Dublin & Greater Dublin for TEN consecutive Friday, Saturday and Sundays through to Midnight on Sunday 14th June 2009.
Power currently broadcasts live shows digitally – online and on mobile - SEVEN days a week from its Dublin studios. In addition, the station regularly hosts live broadcasts from venues, clubs and cultural institutions around the city, and from sister cities around Europe via similarly minded bodies based further afield.
Everyone involved in the station’s current 7 day live schedule will be taking to the Dublin airwaves along with some very special guests and collaborators in music and the digital arts.
A full FM schedule will be announced later this week.
Our digital Monday to Thursday schedule will also continue to run here on Powerfm.org throughout the FM broadcast. All updates will be posted here as they’re confirmed.
Check the ABOUT area on the site for all contact details if you have something that you’d like to contribute to the station.
Keep coming back. It’s going to be fun :-)
