Paul Grant: Diversity Challenge
Paul Grant : Profile / Diversity Challenge -
I have been collecting music on various formats for the last 28 years and because of this, I like to construct my shows by playing various styles over the course of the show. If you check previous archived track list’s, you will see what I mean by Diversity.
I started djayin in 1992, got my first set of turntables in 1995, and as my music collection all ready consisted of plenty of different styles, my studio / live sets have since 1997 contain various styles too.
As I play lots of different styles, I too like to mix them up, genre jumping using a set of turntables.
Previous guests on the show have been Eamonn Doyle (d1 recordings), Olan (All-City Records), Educution (d1 recordings / FES), thatboytim (takeover recordings / Hogans), Anthony O’Brien (Housejunkie’s), Dave Richards (Deep Space), Deasy (The Fear), Rob Montgomery & Eddie Quinlan (Music from the Blue Room), Desy Balmer (Nice and Nasty Records), Donal Thornton (Choice Cuts), Platinumray (FES/ In the Light of the Miracle).
I have played at various events / festivals in London and Dublin since 1997. I have been self promoting events since 1995 in both London and Dublin and have assisted on many events / festivals since 1991.
